ProSpon Ltd. was founded in 1992 and this year we celebrated our seventeenth anniversary. We develop, produce and distribute orthopedic, traumatological and chirurgic implants and tools. Most of our products are of our own making, and on the Czech market we also represent the following companies: the French Orthomed (absorbable screws for ACL reconstruction), Dutch FAME Medical Products (bone cement) and the Korean JEIL Medical Corporation (maxillofacial surgery). We supply our products to the majority of Czech hospitals, both public and private. Our customers are located also in Slovakia, Russia, the Baltic states and France. Production takes place primarily at our location. The machinery used includes mechanical and CNC cutting machines – lathes, cutters and an EDM electro-erosive shaping machine. The production department has 15 employees and, aside from our medical appliances, it custom-produces items according to technical drafts delivered by the customer.
