Metrico Cons. was founded in 1992 and gradually transformed until reaching its current form. We produce and renovate filters and filter inserts for processing and cleaning of drinking water. Our MTC 10 water filters are intended mainly for use in households and in small operations where it is not necessary to generate large amounts of filtered water.
Filtration relies on the flow of water through a filtration charge containing active coal and colloid silver. This improves the medical attributes of filtered water by removing a wide variety of harmful and carcinogenic organic substances:
The content of the following is reduced:
chloride by 80 – 96 %,
phenol by 80 – 86 %,
toluene by 80 – 90 %,
lindane (pesticide) by 76 – 88 %,
atrazine (pesticide) by 76 – 88 %,
detergents by 86 – 96 %,
organic coloring by 87 – 98 %
- stops decomposed remains of plants and biological material, including water pipe rust
- raises mechanical cleanliness of water, improving its taste and smell
- leaves the mineral content of water intact without a significant lowering of the fluoride level (prevention of tooth decay)
- due to the content of colloid silver which has an antigen effect, the water is also biologically cleaned – a large number of contaminants are removed. Nevertheless, the MTC 10 filter is intended only for the processing of drinkable water.

The MTC 10 water filter is a high quality Czech-made carbon filter which fulfils all modern requirements and is already well established on the Czech market. Thanks to its useful properties and good price it has many supporters. Compared to products of foreign producers which have similar results as the MTC 10 filter, the MTC 10 filter is significantly cheaper. The MTC 10 filter is installed directly on the outlet pipe and its operation is very simple. Water filtration through an MTC 10 filter is effective, cheap, easy and mobile.

Currently, we have a sufficient number in stock of both filters and changeable filtration inserts, and if these filters are successful in other countries we plan to produce new, renovated filters and inserts with even better qualitative performance, and will be able easily to supply our customers with larger volumes.
